Tooth Loss From Swollen Gums
A lot of individuals think that when teeth are firmly embedded in their jawbone not thinking that simple conditions such as swollen gums won't take any effect on their oral health. The fact is, swollen gums if left untreated it can lead to tooth loss. The gums supports the teeth they swell due to infection caused by plaque build up, swollen gums may cause receding gums and may result to tooth loose and eventually tooth loss.
Plaque should be eliminated to prevent swollen gums. And once swollen gums is noticed, treatment should be administered immediately to prevent its progression into further destructive dental condition. Proper oral hygiene should be practiced to prevent plaque and gum disease.
